KABUL (Agencies): The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Deputy Prime Minister, Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, met Wednesday with a number of religious scholars and elders of Balkh, Jawzjan and Baghlan provinces.
The religious scholars and elders of northern provinces talked about security, social and economic situation in their provinces and welcomed the departure of the occupying forces and the formation of the Islamic system in the country during a meeting with deputy prime minister Hanafi, according to a statement.
The elders of north hailed initiation of major national projects by the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and asked the leadership to let all the people of Afghanistan enjoy the benefits of the major projects.
Meanwhile, Hanafi praised the elders of north said that providing security is one of the main responsibilities and priorities of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and the leadership of the Islamic Emirate has been able to fulfill these responsibilities properly.
The officials of the Islamic Emirate wills to benefit all people from the major national projects and have taken concrete steps in this direction, Hanafi added.
