PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan says development of the backward areas of the province is the top priority of the present government.
Inaugurating gas supply scheme in Swat today (Sunday), he said the project has been completed at a cost of more than two billion rupees.
Mahmood Khan said it will solve the problem of low gas pressure in the area.
Earlier, the Chief Minister laid foundation stone of establishment of Small Industrial Zone in Dargai area of district Malakand.
Speaking on the occasion, he said the industrial zone will provide a number of employment opportunities to the youth of the Malakand.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister announced different developmental projects for Malakand.
