District admin takes notices of fake income support forms

TIMERGARA: The Lower Dir administration on Tuesday took notice of selling of Mian Shehbaz Sharif Income Support Program forms in parts of the district and announced crackdown against the fraudulent fleecing the innocent poor citizens.

Thousands of blank forms have been distributed among poor families almost in all parts of the district, sources said. They said the poor families had been asked to fill the forms for Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shehbaz Sharif income support program under which they would be paid regularly like the Benazir Income Support program (BISP). Sources said that educated fraudulent were not only selling these forms to poor families but also charged them for filling it.

The Mayar Jandol police on Tuesday arrested two persons identified as Taj Muhammad and Muzamil of Maskini Darra while selling those forms. Police recovered 28 filled and 58 blank forms from their possession. The accused according to police were selling the form are Rs 400 per form. The SHO Ayub Khan told this reporter that Rs 6000 were also recovered from them. He said both the accused were charged under sections 419 and 240 for committing fraud with innocent people.
