Dollar closed at Rs140.24 in interbank, SBP report

ISLAMABAD: The exchange rate of Dollar increased and was traded at Rs140.24 against Rs 139.49, after increase of 75 paisa, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) reported on Friday.

However according to Forex Association of Pakistan the open market rate of Dollar closed at Rs141.30.

The SBP reported that in interbank the price of Euro decreased by 61 paisa after which it was traded at Rs158.45 against Rs 159.06 on last day. The price of Japanese yen remains unchanged at Rs1.26 while the decrease of 17 paisa was witnessed in exchange rate of British Pound which was traded at Rs 183.65 against Rs183.82 on last day.

Exchange rates of UAE Dirham and Saudi Rayal witnessed the increase of 21 paisa and 20 paisa after which they were traded at Rs 38.18 and 37.39 against 37.97 and 37.19 respectivly.
