Dollar gain 49 paisa in interbank

ISLAMABAD: The exchange rate of Dollar increased by 49 paisa in interbank and traded at Rs 140.78 against Rs140.29, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) reported on Friday.

However according to Forex Association of Pakistan the open market rate of Dollar closed at Rs142.30.

The SBP reported that in interbank the price of Euro increased by 16 paisa after which it was traded at Rs 158.04 against Rs 157.88 on last day.

The price of Japanese yen remains unchanged after which it was traded at Rs 1.27 while the decrease of Rs 1.15 was witnessed in exchange rate of British Pound which was traded at Rs 183.40 against Rs184.55 on last day.

Exchange rates of UAE Dirham and Saudi Rayal increased by 13 paisa each after which they were traded at Rs 38.32 and 37.53 against Rs 38.19 and 37.40 respectively.
