MAIMANA: A huge gathering of Afghanistan’s solvation Alliance is expected to hold in Turkey next week, the first Vice President Gen. Abdul Rashid Dostum has announced.
Addressing his supporters on the telephone from Turkey on Tuesday, the first vice president said he would soon come back to Afghanistan.
The ASA meeting would be attended by Kandahar Police Chief Gen. Abdul Razeq, Deputy Speaker of Wolesi Jirga Humayon Humayon and some other lawmakers.
The alliance was incepted last year with Jamiat-I-Islami President Salahuddin Rabbani, former Balkh Governor Atta Mohammad Noor, first Vice-President Gen. Dostum and head of Wahdat Political Party Haji Mohaqiq being the founder of the ASA.
Dostum asked his supporters to take part in the voter registration process on great number and introduce honest people to the Wolesi Jirga.
He expressed satisfaction over improved security situation in the country and added security strategies presented in the past by him were now being implemented which he said led to improved situation.
