Dozens of Taliban killed in raids

KANDAHAR: Dozens of armed Taliban were killed in a series of air raids in Kandahar.

The Taliban were suppressed in parts of Arghandab district. ANA senior commander in south of the country told BNA, in the raid, 33 Taliban were killed and dozens others were injured. Six strongholds of the Taliban with all war equipment have been destroyed, he added. According to reports, the Taliban recently built new centers in parts of Arghandab district and they want to increase the number of terrorist attacks in the south of the country. (BNA)
