Dr. Sawera to contest polls from PK-25

BUNER: For the first time in the history of Buner a woman candidate from Minority community Dr. Sawera Parkash will contest elections for provincial assembly from constituency PK-25 on general seat on 8th February 2024.

According to details, Dr. Saweera Parkash also submitted nomination papers both reserved seats of National and Provincial assemblies. The family candidate affiliated with Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) for 35 years while the party had requested Dr. Om Parkash to bring her daughter into politics.

The father of Dr. Saweera Parkash is active political and social worker ready to welfare of humans. As well as he had performed his role to serve humanity both public and private sector health centers. The candidate is hopeful that PPP will grant party ticket which will pave way for women to participate in politics actively as policy maker. She argued youth for support because the young has potential to change dynamics of political landscape in the country.

Moreover, Dr. Sawera Parkash has graduated from Abbottabad International Medical College Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2022. She is also aspirant of Competitive Exams especially Central Superior Services.

Meanwhile, Dr Saweera Parkash claimed that prioritizing the uplifting of the socio-economic of women folk will ultimately increase national growth. She claimed that participation of women in politics to change socio-economic dynamics of the country.

It is worthy to mention that PPP’s senior leadership had convinced Dr. Sawera father Dr. Om Parkash for bringing her daughter into politics from Buner district which is itself creation of historical event.

AWP observes 5th anniversary of founder Fanous Gujjar: The Qaid Fanos Gujor 5th death aniversary observed at Swari in Buner. The Qaid founded leftist political plat form Awami Workers Party (AWP) central leadership the Khyber Pulhtonkhwa leadership the Gilgit Baltistan leadership the Malakand division and Buner district leadership the nominated candidates the AWP workers and the Qaid Fanos comrades largely participated.

The leadership from stage and participants from ground time and again raised full throat slogans in memory of Qaid Fanos Gujor and the AWP and party manifesto Socialism as the sole and last option to all social evils especially the social injustices and poverty.

Those addressed included AWP central secretary general Bakhshal Khan Tlo the women wing central secretary general Dr.Farzana Bari the KPK president Haider Zaman the GB president Baba Jan the MKD president and political heir of Qaid Fanos Gujor and candidate NA 10 Buner Usman Fanos Gujor district Buner president Jihanzeb Khan Gul Rehman Wahab Rashed Shehzad Gujor Raza Khan Gujor Advocate Jehanzeb Wahab Rashed and candidates PK 25 Engineer Sabir Khan candidate PK 26 Advocate Suleman Khan and candidate PK 27 Ali Mohamad Khan addressed.

The speakers highlighted key role of Qaid in left politic adding he was behind uniting leftist on single platform and formed Awami Workers Party Pakistan.They elaborated AWP was representing all of margnalized segments in the society.They shared valued informations about life and struggle of Qaid Fanos Gujor adding he was a revolutionary progressive leftist practical character who spend all his life for fighting and safeguarding rights of poor and stood firm on his stand for socialist system in the country till last breath.They remembered Qaid Fanos Gujor never achieved wish to be elected as member parliament for raising voice for poor in parliament for what he several times contested elections.

Meanwhile, as many as Total 111 candidates filed nomination papers for single NA and three PK seats in Buner. Total 25 candidates were filed their nomination papers for the slot of NA 10 Buner till ending time. The candidates for NA seat were affiliated to Awami National Party (ANP) Jamiat Ulema e Islam Fazal (JUIF) Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) Jamaat e Islami (JI) Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarian (PPPP) Awami Workers Party Pakistan (AWPP) Awami Democratic Party Pakistan (ADOP) Mazlum Ulasi Tehrek Pakistan (MUTP) Pakistan Tehrek e Insaf (PTI) Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf Parliamentarian (PTIP).
