Eid security assured by Ministry of Interior

KABUL (TOLOnews): The Ministry of Interior told citizens that security will be ensured during the Eid days across the country.
The spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior said that strict security measures have been taken to ensure the security of citizens throughout the country during the Eid days.
Officials in this ministry stated that no individual or group will be allowed to disturb the security of citizens during the Eid days.
“To the extent necessary, Inshallah, in all provinces, and crowded areas, mosques, recreational spots, and public gatherings, our forces have been and will be deployed. We assure everyone that security will be ensured. We ask all our compatriots to cooperate with the security and defense forces,” said Abdul Matin Qane, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior.
“To better ensure the safety of citizens, please refrain from using fireworks and other actions that disturb the peace of the citizens,” said Mohammad Shaker Saad, Deputy Commander of Kabul Security Department.
A number of citizens are appealing to the security departments to ensure public safety over the Eid holidays. “Security forces are obligated to ensure the safety of the people so that no sorrow or unrest mars the joy of Eid,” said Abdul Rahman, a resident of Kabul.
Experts believe that ensuring the safety of citizens ranks as a primary responsibility for the government. “Ensuring the security of the people during the Eid days is one of the important responsibilities of the Islamic Emirate,” said Abdul Hadi Quraishi, a military analyst.
“All security agencies should form a joint commission to be able to secure the locations where Eid prayers are held and also the recreational areas where people celebrate Eid. The government must take strict measures, increase their checkpoints, and conduct frequent searches of the people so that enemies cannot harm them,” said Moeen Gul Samkani, a political analyst.
Previously, the country’s citizens have complained about shootings, the sale of fireworks, and weapons for children during the Eid days, and have always demanded that security officials prevent this.
