Eight dead, five injured in Kamra road mishap

KAMRA (INP): At least eight people died and several others were injured in a dreadful road mishap here on Friday.

According to National Highway Authority (NHA) officials and Motorways Police, an over speeding van crashed into a tree near Kamra in Attock district after driver lost control of the vehicle during attempt to over take another moving ahead vehicle.

Five people died on the spot in the accident while eight others were injured.

The rescue personnel shifted the bodies and injured to hospital where three more injured people succumbed to their wounds raising death toll to eight.
