KABUL: An eight-year-old boy abducted in eastern Kabul was abducted in Kart-e-Naw, in eastern Kabul, and stabbed to death, according to his relatives, who buried him in Bagrami district.
“We don’t have any hope in the government,” said Abdul Saboor, Yusuf’s brother. “Our heart will be calm when the perpetrator is killed in front of us.”
“The son of a person who served the country for 35 years was killed brutally,” said Abdul Sami Qarloq, Yusuf’s cousin.
Yusuf’s mother, Nafas Gul, said she wants justice from the government.
“What sin had my son committed?” she asked.
Other relatives of the eight-year-old boy said the government has failed to ensure people’s safety.
Yusuf was in the second year at school.
His father is a retired employee of the Ministry of Interior Affairs.
Kabul police spokesman Ferdaws Faramarz said one suspect had been arrested.
“In connection with the murder of a child in Bagrami district, police arrested the main perpetrator of the case,” Faramarz said.(TOLOnews)
