KARACHI: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) have agreed to make seats adjustment during the forthcoming general elections slated to be held on February 8.
PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif held a meeting with GDA leader Pir Pagara. Both the leaders agreed that they would not bring their candidates against each other in upcoming elections.
The PML-N is seeking seat adjustments with several mainstream political parties in Sindh including GDA, Mutahidda Quami Movement-Pakistan and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam to face the powerful political party from the province – Pakistan Peoples Party.
All these political parties – PML-N, MQM, JUI, and GDA – have decided to make a committee which will devise a seat adjustment formula among the allies.
