Entrance militaryexam held in Kabul

KABUL (Agencies): Thousands take an entrance exam for the Police Academy and National Defense University in Kabul on Tuesday.
The deputy of the National Examinations Department Sheikh Rahimullah Haqqani, said that the Islamic Emirate is pledge forming a professional army in the country.
The security forces, obliged on maintaining security and fighting crimes, adding that the exam process must be hold in a transparent manner, he said.
The head of the National Defense University, Mawlavi Abdul Qaum Elyas said: among the candidate those who pass the exam with good score will be recruited to the National Defense University.
The head of the police academy, Major Hazrat Mohammad Mahmood, said that 2,200 volunteers have participated in the police academy exam, and from the number only 200 will be recruited in this academy after passing the exam successfully.
The candidates are all schools graduates from Kabul and other provinces of the country, he said.
One the candidates Nazeer Mohammad said, that he is confident on the transparency of the exam and hoped to pass the exam successfully.
