Exhibition at local school drew a huge crowd

Mardan: Science, Arts and Cultural Exhibition at Services Public School and College, drew a huge crowd including teachers, students along with their parents and relatives here, on Sunday.

Relevant officials of the educational institute claimed that the event of science, arts and culture exhibition was organized at the said school and college with the purpose to create awareness and knowledge among students about human life, living-style as well as culture and tradition of people of different provinces of Pakistan.

As many as 1100 exhibits were displayed by over 900 students from nursery to Class X with each class working on a different theme. At the exhibition, nursery children displayed paintings of fruits, vegetables, animals and birds.

‘Geo-thermal energy’, ‘water cycle’, ‘global warming’, ‘urban occupation’, ‘types of pollution’, ‘history of early man’, ‘satellite communication’, ‘structure of the earth’ and many more formed part of the exhibition.

It was not just students who had put up their exhibits, even teachers involved themselves with interesting themes like ‘solar system’, different forms of terrace’, ‘early man civilization’ and deities made with chalk and pencil nibs, among others.

Going through the exhibits at the school, the students’ parents and relatives appreciated the students and the teachers for the effort taken.

Reiterating facts about the exhibition, a school teacher Samina, said, “We organise such exhibitions every year. The credit goes to the collaborative effort wherein students, teachers and parents involved themselves.”

Syed Hashim Bacha-principal of  Services Public School and College- told this correspondent that they wanted to high-light and shine inner qualities of students by their participation in such science, arts and culture exhibition.

”We try to provide more and more ideas to students by holding or organizing such exhibition at school and college level,” he said, adding that the students could take benefit from those ideas in their future.

Muhammad Hasham Khan, a student of class-VII told that they ( student) had been enjoying the event of arts, science and culture every year by taking part in it.
