Explosion in Jalalabad city leaves 1 dead, 17 wounded

JALALABAD: An explosion in Jalalabad city of Nangarhar province killed one person and injured at least 17 others.

The incident took place earlier Thursday after a magnetic bomb planted in a vehicle went off.

Local officials confirmed that the bomb was planted in a Toyota Hilux type vehicle.

Meanwhile, reports indicate the blast killed one person and wounded at least 20 others.(Khaama Press)
