Explosion in Kabul: eight injured taken to emergency hospital

KABUL (Amu TV): Emergency Hospital in Kabul reported that it has received eight injured individuals following an explosion on Sunday afternoon in the Dasht-e-Barchi area of western Kabul.

The blast happened at around 4 p.m. local time.

According to a statement on X from Emergency NGO, three of the injured are women. The NGO added that seven of the victims require surgery, with one in critical condition.

Sources indicate that the blast was caused by an improvised explosive device planted in a minivan, targeting civilians.

Taliban has yet to release precise casualty figures for the incident.
