Extra fat on liver damages mental health, new research

LONDON: The extra layer of fats on the liver create various challenges for this organ’s health. However, now a recent research stated this situation leads to issues in mental health abilities.

 

According to Kings College London’ experts, more than required fats on liver leads to the reduction of oxygen to the brain and as a result the brain faces severe challenges due to inflammation.

 

The experiment was performed on two rats with one given more oily food while the other was given food with less oil. After two weeks, there was increase of fats in the first rat due to which brain functions also got affected.

 

Later the experts urged the common people to eat food with less fats.
