ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister (FM) of Water Resources Faisal Vawda admitted to a hospital after suffering a chest pain today (May 9) due to which he could not attend the National Assembly’s session.
In the absence of Faisal Vawda, FM for Power Omar Ayub Khan responded to the questions in the Assembly.
According to the media reports, his health deteriorated suddenly when he was shifted to the Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology (AFIC).
As per sources, FM Water Resources suffered through angina, a type of chest pain caused by reduced blood flow to the heart, while doctors have already started the treatment.
He was supposed to talk at the NA session today but failed to do so due to the angina.
