Faisalabad: Seven burn to death as fire breaks out in plaza

FAISALABAD: A large fire broke out at a five-storied plaza located in Yarn Market of Karkhana bazar in Faisalabad, while seven members of a family became victims of the tragic incident.

According to details, the cause of fire was said to be a short circuit late at night. The fire engulfed two floors of the plaza.

Due to the fire, seven people including four children of the same family living on the second floor of the plaza were burnt to death.

Furthermore, the bodies were shifted to the hospital while the rescue teams controlled the situation.

The locals reported that, the hanging electric wires have caused short circuit several times and despite registering several complaints, the authorities are reluctant to fix them.
