MUMBAI: With the super success of Simmba, Rohit Shetty is on cloud 9 and he had earlier revealed that he plans to hire filmmakers to direct under his production house Rohit Shetty Picturez. Making a big official announcement this morning, Rohit revealed that he will be joining hands with Farah Khan Kunder for the biggest action comedy. The film will be helmed by Farah under his production house, Rohit Shetty Picturez.
Speaking about working on this action-comedy, excited Farah told a daily, “Sometimes the Universe just conspires to give you what you didn’t even imagine…Together with Rohit, who I genuinely love as a brother and whose work ethic I respect and share, I can only promise a ‘Mother of all Entertainers’! Cannot wait to say “Roll Camera” for this one!!”
On having Farah on board, Rohit said, “It’s a privilege for My Production Company to have Farah on board to Direct a film for us as she is extremely talented and hard working. It will definitely be a wonderful association. I can’t wait to start work with this extremely talented powerhouse. Looking forward.”
Rohit Shetty’s last Simmba did impressively well and earned around Rs 240 crore at the box-office. Farah Khan, on the other hand, has helmed Main Hoon Na, Om Shanti Om, Tees Maar Khan and her first Rs 200 crore film Happy New Year.
