Farmers seeking new market for onion export

LAHORE: The onion prices drastically declined after the arrival of fresh onion crops from different parts of the country especially from Sindh.

Waheed Ahmed, Chairman All Pakistan Fruit & Vegetables Exporters, Importers, and Merchants Association (PVFA) has write a letter to the Agriculture Department of Sindh and adding that in the country we have surplus quantity of onions and the new quantity is coming from Baluchistan province is expected to reach the market in the month of December.

He added that it is need of the time that to search new market for the export of surplus onions and it will boost up the country economy.

Addressing Minster of Agriculture, Sindh PVFA has requested the authorities to immediately allow export of surplus Onion crops.
