KARACHI: Central President Pakistan Peoples Party Women Wing Mrs. Faryal Talpur has paid tributes to Begum Nusrat Bhutto on her 89th birthday being celebrated on Friday.
In a Press statement issued here, Mrs Faryal Talpur said that Begum Nusrat Bhutto organized a vibrant Women Wing of the PPP nearly five decades ago and it was first-ever Women Wing formed by any political party in Pakistan. PPP Women Wing President said that Begum Nusrat Bhutto sacrificed everything she had for the restoration of democracy during struggle against worst dictatorial regime of the history. Mrs Faryal Talpur said that in battling the dictatorial forces she lost her husband, two sons and dearest daughter Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.
PPP Women Wing said that Begum Nusrat Bhutto’s struggle will continue to inspire all the women and every Party worker would always remember her as a role-model democratic fighter.
