Fate of tribesmen to change in near future: Khattak

LANDI KOTAL: Federal Minister for Defense Pervaiz Khattak has said that tribal has rendered matchless sacrifices for the sake of their motherland and time has come to heal their wounds by resolving their grievances on priority base. After elimination of the draconian law, Frontier Crime Regulation (FCR) and merging of the tribal belt into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa new era of development has started in the area and the incumbent government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf(PTI)will initiate every possible steps for their progress.

Addressing to a public gathering in Bar-Kamber Khel, Bara on Sunday evening he said that the ex-tribal region would get Rs. 100 billion annually that would spend on provision of education, health, electricity, communication etc. and other basic facilities in the area.

Khattak maintained that after merging new era of progress had begun in the ex-tribal belt and in near future sense of deprivation among the tribesmen would be removed.

“PTI government has determined to bring the backward merged tribal districts equal to other parts of the country by setting up mega projects in it”, he added and saying all available minerals in the ex-Fata would be utilized for the betterment of the tribesmen.

He assured that every tribal youth would get jobs as per their qualification and abilities at their door steps.

Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Noorul Haq Qadri and provincial information minister Shaukat Yousafzai were also present on the occasion. 

Member Parliament from Bara, Iqbal Afridi appraised the defense minister of the problems being faced by the people.
