Fawad Chaudhry welcomes SC decision in Nehal Hashmi case

ISLAMABAD: Leader of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), Fawad Chaudhry has welcomed the supreme court decision in Nehal Hashmi case on Thursday and adding that the decision proves that the judiciary are independent.

This he said while talking to media after the Supreme Court announced one month imprisonment and five banned for holding any public office.

He said that those who are trying to threatening the judiciary will take lesson from the decision and adding that Nehal Hashmi clearly threatened the judiciary and tried to interfere in the judiciary proceedings.

Fawad added that it is the history of PML-N that they always trying to attack the judiciary with different tactics but the days are gone when the judiciary were not taking action and now the judiciary is powerful and independent and not accepting any threats from these leaders.

He appreciated the apex court decision and assured that PTI will stand with the judiciary if anyone trying to threat or attacked the judiciary.
