Fayyaz Ahmed assumes charge as DG NAB KP

PESHAWAR: Fayyaz Ahmed Qureshi has assumed the charge of Director General NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday relieving Mujahid Akbar Baloch. 

A spokesman for the NAB said that Fayyaz Ahmed Qureshi DG NAB KP vowed to ensure self-accountability to promote the vision of Justice Javed Iqbal Chairman NAB.

On his first day in office, he reviewed the performance of the bureau and expressed satisfaction over the progress of cases. He also stressed on his teams to maintain integrity in personal and officials matters.

In order to prevent miscarriage of justice, the Directed General advised all officers to protect the constitutional rights of all persons under scrutiny in accountability matters.

It merits mentioning here that Fayyaz Qureshi hails from Sindh. He joined National Accountability Bureau in 2004 as Additional Director and became Director in 2014.

He has vast experience of investigations and has served in Karachi & Sukkar  Bureaus and NAB Head Quarters  on key positions.
