Fazlur Rehman’s son accepts Ali Amin Gandapur’s challenge for election
ISLAMABAD: Maulana Fazalur Rahman’s son MNA Maulana Asad Mehmood has accepted the challenge for fresh elections by Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Ali Amin Gandapur.
Ali Amin Gandapur said he is ready to vacate his seat to contest by-election against JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman in election arena. He added that the JUI-F can monitor the electons with surveillance cameras. He also urged Maulana Fazlur Rehman to end his sit-in and for by-election to prove his popularity.
On the occasion, Maulana Fazalur Rahman’s son MNA Maulana Asad Mehmood accepted the PTI leader’s challenge and expressed that “I want to show whole Pakistan your true face”. JUI-F leader Asad Mehmood asserted that he is ready to tender his resignation if Ali Amin Gandapur also quits.
Earlier, Khattak also challenged the leadership of JUI-F for fresh election in Ali Amin Gandapur’s constituency and alleged that two political parties have put economy of the country in crisis.
He once again invited the Jamiat Ulema-e Islam (F) leadership for dialogue to solve the issues in an amicable manner, adding that if you want democracy to flourish in the country, then come on the negotiation table for solving the issues rather than Dharna politics.
