FCCI delegation visits SIAL

SIALKOT: The Sialkot-based leading export tycoons assured full cooperation to the Faisalabad businessmen enabling them to establish their international airport on self help basis.

Sialkot business community leader Riazud Din Sheikh announced this while addressing a meeting with the visited delegation of Faisalabad-based leading industrialists which visited the Sialkot International Airport (SIAL) here on Thursday.

Chairman SIAL Khawar Anwar Khawaja presided over the meeting. President Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) Shabir Hussain Chawla and Vice President Usman Rauf jointly led this delegation.

Riazud Din Sheikh said that the Sialkot exporters made their dream of having an international airport true by establishing the international airport on self help basis.

He said that the management of the Sialkot International Airport Limited and Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) would provide guidance, support and technical assistance to the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI), enabling them to establish their own international airport in Faisalabad on self help basis.

Addressing the meeting, President FCCI Shabir Hussain Chawla and VP Usman Rauf highly hailed the Sialkot exporters for establishing the Sialkot International Airport Limited.

Later on, they also discussed in details matters of mutual interest during a meeting with the management of Sialkot International Airport Limited.

On this occasion, Chairman Sialkot International Airport Limited (SIAL) Khawar Anwar Khawaja gave detailed briefing to the visiting delegation of the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) about the airport.
