Feb 8 is the day of liberty, says Siraj

LOWER DIR: Jamaat-e-Islami chief Sirajul Haq, has said that February 8 is the day to get rid of the mafia in the country. He was addressing the monthly congregation arranged by the JI Lower Dir as chief guest at Ahya ul Uloom Balambat here on Thursday evening. The JI chief said that people should support his party for the establishment of a real Islamic welfare state.

He saidCenter that 20,000 Palestinians had been martyred so far due to Israeli brutality while millions had been displaced. He said that the JI had organized a million marches in Pakistan to motivate the Muslim Ummah but to no avail.

The JI chief claimed that Rs 1.25 ballion cash handed over for the Palestinians, while 4.7 tons of relief goods had been sent to Gaza. He said that he visited several Muslim countries to convince the rulers to support the innocent Palestinians against Israel.
