Festivities of Eid continue on second consecutive day

ISLAMABAD: The festivities of Eid-ul-Fitr continue on the second day on Thursday.

The people are visiting their relatives and recreational places across the country today to enjoy Eid celebrations with their loved ones.

In twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, people are visiting their relatives, parks and other picnic places to enjoy pleasant weather after rain reduced the temperature.

The spots like, Lake View Park, Pakistan Monument, F-9 Park, Rose and Jasmine garden, Ayub national park and other small parks are sites of attraction for the visitors.

People from the twin cities and other parts of the country are also embarking upon a trip to Murree.

Elaborate arrangements have been made to facilitate the visitors.

In Karachi, people have turned to the beaches and enjoyed the holidays with their friends and family. Sindh Government has made foolproof security arrangements at all the public places to provide safety and help to the people in need and keeping flow of traffic normal.

Khyber Pakhtunkhawa’s Governor House remained opened for second consecutive day for general public. Governor Haji Ghulam Ali was also among the people and mingled with them. A large number of youths are also visiting beautiful tourist resorts including Swat, Kalam, Bahrain, Naran, Kaghan, Galyat and Lake Saiful Maluk.

Similarly, a large number of people from all over Balochistan reached District Ziarat and visited Ziarat Residency where Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah spent last days of his life.
