KARACHI: Fauji Fertilizer Company (FFC) has reduced its Urea price by Rs. 300 per bag effective 28 January 2020. The benefit of cut in GIDC (Gas Infrastructure Development Cess) by government of Pakistan has been immediately passed on to the farmers.
This considerable reduction in urea prices has provided much needed benefit to the farming sector which plays vital role in National Economy & Food Security, and employs 42% of the labor force. As Urea is the most consumed fertilizer in Pakistan, the reduction in its price is expected to provide relief and strength to the impoverished agriculture sector of Pakistan.
