Firdous asks Fazl to focus on Islam, not Islamabad

F.P. Report

ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan Wednesday said Maulana Fazlur Rehman should not set his eyes on Islamabad and avoid using innocent children to protect the corrupt mafia.

In a tweet on social media platform Twitter, she said, “Maulana Fazlur Rehman is requested that he should keep an eye on Islam and not on Islamabad. Turning innocent children of the nation into political strength to protect the corrupt mafia is neither Islam nor democracy.”

She said Maulana Fazlur Rehman was hostile towards Imran Khan. “As a religious scholar you (Maulana Fazlur Rehman) should promote peace and brotherhood and  not hostility,” she added.
