Firdous: UNSC meeting on Kashmir is Pakistan’s diplomatic victory

PESHAWAR: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting, Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Thursday said that Kashmir was an unfinished agenda of the partition plan of the sub-continent that could only be completed by granting of right to self-determination of Kashmiris. She expressed hope that the Kashmir will soon be part of Pakistan.
SAPM said that Kashmir is incomplete without Pakistan. She pointed out that those who had differed with the two-nation theory of the Quaid-e-Azam would have now understood how right he was. She also emphasized that Indian ploy to change status of occupied Kashmir intensified the clash between two ideologies and the Quaid had read the Hindu mentality at that time.
Firdous Awan was addressing a seminar organized by Peshawar Press Club to observe the Indian Indepedence Day as ‘Black Day’ and express solidarity with people of Kashmir. Provincial Minister for Information, Shaukat Ali Yousafzai, Advisor CM on merged districts and KP government Spokesman, Ajmal Wazir, Director General PID, provincial information and other officials, the press club office bearers were present on the occasion.
SAPM said that exploration of innocent Kashmiris is being carried in disputed territory. She said that Indian PM Modi recently speech was an eye-opener for everyone for the whole world, in which he indicated towards its nefarious plan for the entire region. However, she said the PM Modi will not be succeeded in his evil designs.
The worth kind of atrocities are being committed by Indian armed forces against the innocent Kashmiris in India Held Kashmir which had never happened in Palestine, she noted, adding that bruatality of India forces remembered us about incident of Karbala, the supreme sacrifices of Hazarat Imam Hussain (AS) and his companion. She further observed that pregnant women were not allowed to go for hospitals in the occupied territory, which strongly condemnable.
Welcoming the holding of United Nations Security Council (UNSC) meeting after five decades on Kashmir issue, she said that the move was a diplomatic victory of Pakistan. She said that Russian government had also supported the demand of Pakistan and added that civilized world was taking notice of Modi’s illegal and unilateral steps to change the disputed status of the Indian occupied Kashmir (IoK).
SAPM said that this UNSC’s meeting on issue of Kashmir was actually India’s defeat on its longstanding claim of Kashmir issue as its internal matter. She assured that under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, Pakistan will continue advocating the hapless Kashmiris to plead their case at all forums to compel India to resolve the Kashmir issue as per wishes of the Kashmiri people and under UN Security Council resolutions.
Comparing Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Adolf Hitler, who was responsible for ruining the entire generation from his cruelty and brutality, Modi wanted to do same with the innocent Kashmiris, she added. She said with all these evil steps in IoK, Modi wanted to fulfill his nefarious designs which he started to implement from massive killing of Muslims in Indian Gujarat.
She praised the cancer of terrorism had wiped out forever due to sacrifices of Pakistan security and people that was restored sustainable peace in tribal region and the whole country. She also saluted the COAS Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa for giving a clear message of India by his visit to Line of Control (LoC), saying that Pakistan armed forces are fully capable to give benefiting response of enemy.
SAPM thanked the Peshawar Press Club and Journalists community for arranging the event and observing Indian Independence Day as Black Day. She said the Kashmir will soon be part of the Pakistan.
