KOHISTAN: As many as 10 people of a same family died after a monster fire destroyed their house in Kohistan in wee hours of Friday.
The fire suddenly erupted in the house of Nawab Lohar at 2:00 am.
The deceased included five daughters, three sons, mother and wife of the head of the family in Seri Patan area of Lower Kohistan.
Two children miraculously escaped the disaster
The blaze was so intense that roofs of the multi-storey house burnt quickly and later caved in.
Though the rescue and fire-fighters were still continuing their operations, the huge fire the whole house was destroyed and the cattle also burnt to death.
Rescue and fire-brigade personnel could not so far ascertain what cause the inferno.
