Five killed in an explosion in Kabul

KABUL: An explosion in Kabul targeted a bus carrying the employees of the Independent Administrative Reform and Civil Service Commission, sources confirmed.

The explosion occurred in DarulAman road in Kabul at around 1:30pm local time.

This comes a day after four explosions happened in Kabul on Sunday, June 2.

The bus was hired by employees of the commission but it was not owned by the government organization.

The Interior Ministry’s spokesman NasratRahimi confirms that a magnetic IED blast targeted a bus carrying the employees of the Independent Administrative Reform and Civil Service Commission in Kabul at around 1:30pm. He said that casualties are feared as a result of the explosion.

WahidullahMayar, a spokesman for Ministry of Public Health, said that according to initial findings, the explosion in DarulAman road in Kabul has left one dead and nine others wounded.

At least four people were killed and nine others were wounded in the explosion that targeted employees of the Independent Administrative Reform and Civil Service Commission in Kabul, an official of the commission confirmed.

The death toll from Kabul explosion rises to five, said Wahidullah Mayar, spokesman for Ministry of Public Health. He said 10 others were wounded in the explosion that targeted employees of Independent Administrative Reform and Civil Service Commission.(TOLOnews)
