Five people injured in gas explosion in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: As many as five members of a family were injured on Tuesday when a gas cylinder exploded in their house in Kartarpura area of Rawalpindi.

Police told media that the injured were transferred to a nearby hospital for medical attention.

A total of nine incidents of gas cylinder explosion have been reported within a period of eight days, resulting in the loss of two lives.
