DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Five policemen were martyred on Tuesday when unknown gunmen attacked police van in jurisdiction of Tehsil Pora police station on Dera Ismail Khan.
According to local news channel report, the police van was attacked at Indus Highway by unknown assailants, resulting in martyrdom of three personnel on the spot, while two got injured.
The Injured were shifted to the District Headquarter hospital Dera Ismail Khan, where the injured policemen succumbed to their bullet wounds.
The martyred policemen were identified as, SHO Tahir Nawaz, DFC Mir Baz, driver, Javed and two constables namely Asif and Sarfaraz.
