Karachi: Karachi Wholesale Grocers Association (KWGA) Chairman Malik Zulfiqar Ali has said that Commissioner Karachi, Mr. Iftikhar Ali Shallwani, in a meeting decided to set the ex-mill of flour at Rs.43 per kg and in retail markets of Karachi, flour will be sold at retail price of Rs. 45 per kg.
Malik Zulfiqar Ali said in a statement, that the business delegation including Karachi Wholesale Grocers Association, Flour Mills Association, Retailers Association and other participated in the meeting chaired by Commissioner Iftikhar Ali Shilwani. In the meeting discussed in detail the availability of wheat to the flour mills and the supply of flour in the retail market at the official price and it was agreed that a 10 kg bag of flour whole sale Price will be Rs. 430, while 10 kg bag of flour will be sold at a retail price of Rs. 450 per kg in the retail market and sale of flour at a price higher than the official price will impose fines.
