FM meets Norway’s Chargé d’affaires

KABUL (Ariana News): Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanekzai met with Paul Klouman Bekken, Chargé d’affaires of Norway for Afghanistan, Abdul Qahar Balkhi, the foreign ministry spokesman said in a post on X.
At the meeting, Bekken acknowledged progress in stability, security, and economy and appreciated efforts in managing the return of refugees, Balkh said.
Calling the recent achievements in Afghanistan self-evident and unprecedented, Stanekzai highlighted that the Islamic Emirate professionally managed the returnee process, provided timely transportation, shelter, food, clothing and health services.
However, there remains a need for further international corporation, he said.
Balkhi stated that views were also exchanged on other bilateral and regional issues between the two sides at this meeting.
