BARA: First ever representation in the provincial assembly to the ex-tribal region has been granted to the tribesmen. Personally visits the merged tribal districts to observe closely the miseries being faced by the residents of the area. In near future an era of development will be kicked out in ex-tribal belt and the incumbent government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has pledged to resolve problems of the residents of merged tribal districts on priority basis.
These views were expressed by the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa while addressing to a public gathering here at Khyber Chowk Bara Bazaar, district Khyber on Wednesday. He said that the government had determined to initiate development projects in the merged districts to improve life standard of the people who had been neglected for the last seven decades.
He announced that in February construction works on all demolished schools would be started and with beginning of InsafRozgar Scheme, youth community of the area would be able to set up their personnel businesses. “Priority will be given to locals in of granting of mineral lease, found in the ex-tribal region in addition with eligible locals will be posted in all public offices”, CM remarked.
CM Mehmood Khan said that 29 thousands Khasadar and Levies forces personnel had been merged in police and will leave no stone unturned to bring progress in the merged districts. Spokesperson of CM on merged districts AjmalWazir said that under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, corruption had been rooted out and the country had been put on the way of development.
He added that the present government of PTI would remove sense of deprivation among the tribesmen and would bestow all basic rights, they deserved. Earlier member provincial assembly from Bara, ShafiqAfridi apprised the Chief Minister of the problems being faced by the various segments of the tribal society. Member National Assembly IqbalAfridi and local PTI leader Ameer Khan also addressed on the occasion.
