Some forces trying to sabotage CPEC: Ahsan Iqbal

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal has said that some forces are continuously trying to sabotage the game changer project China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) with the aim to destabilize Pakistan economically.

Ahsan Iqbal said this while talking to media in Narowal. He said enemies of Pakistan were busy in hatching conspiracies against the country interest and adding that all state institutions and political parties to recognize the enemies of Pakistan and stay united against them in the better interest of the country.

Regarding the CPEC, Ahsan Iqbal said that the project would ensure connectivity of regional countries with China and all Central Asian states.

Talking about the caretaker setup in Pakistan, he said that the government was seeking suggestion from the opposition for the interim prime minister.
