Foreign Self Finance: PHC directs KMU to decide within 10 days

PESHAWAR: A divisional bench of Peshawar High Court (PHC) comprising of Justice Musrt Hilali and Justice Abdul Shakoor ordered Khyber Medical University decide application of student on foreign seat within 10 days, on Tuesday.

The counsel Tariq Afghan Advocate informed PHC that petitioner is citizen of United States of America while appeared Medical and Dental College Aptitude Test while applied under Foreign Self Finance Scheme at KMU.

The counsel argued that petitioner was excluded from final merit list because petitioner didn’t submitted Inter Boards Chairmen Committee equivalency certificate.

He added that petitioner submitted IBCC certificate laterally because he obtained it late but KMU didn’t entertained it.

The counsel Tariq Afghan Advocate argued that petitioner has also submitted application to KMU committee but to no veil and requested that court should direct varsity administration to decide the case.

The divisional bench of PHC comprised of Justice Musart Hilali and Justice Abdul Shakoor ordered KMU to decide the applicant on Foreign Finance Scheme within 10 days.
