ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has appointed Muhammad Ali, former Caretaker Federal Minister, as the Special Assistant for Power.
The Cabinet Division has issued a notification confirming the appointment.
According to the notification, Muhammad Ali’s new post will be equivalent to that of a Minister of State. His appointment as Special Assistant is effective immediately.
Muhammad Ali has previously served as the Federal Minister for Power and Petroleum during the caretaker government.
