ISLAMABAD: Former Chief Justice of Pakistan, Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has announced to challenge the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan’s candidature under Article 62-1(f) for allegedly fathering a “love child” (Tyrian White) with the deceased British millionaire Sita White.

Iftikhar Chaudhry said this while giving interview to private news channel and revealed that he would ask the top court to reopen the case before the general elections which is scheduled to be held on July 25.

He said that it appears to be a serious allegation against Imra Khan that he has a love child and adding that he has now words for it to explain in Urdu because our daughters would be listening.

Former CJP added that it is strange that Imran does not recognize his love Child namely Tyrian White while in Pakistan but he does recognize her outside.

Dealing with the qualification of a parliamentary candidate, Article 62-1(f) of the Constitution of Pakistan says: “a person shall not be qualified to be elected or chosen as a member of Majlis-e-Shoora (Parliament) if he is not sagacious, righteous and non-profligate, honest and amen, there being no declaration to the contrary by a court of law.”

Iftikhar Chaudhry established his party in 2015 and the Election Commission has recently allotted ‘gavel’ as an election symbol to the party.
