TANK: The brother of Salahuddin Mehsood, a former IG police officer, was abducted and killed by unidentified individuals, according to a report by Dunya News on Friday.
Allegedly, a group of unknown attackers fired upon the vehicle of Habibullah Mehsood, who was the brother of Tank’s former IG police officer and had previously held the position of a nazim.
In the ensuing gunfire, Habibullah Mehsood’s bodyguard was killed on the spot, and the assailants took Habibullah Mehsood captive.
Subsequently, the abductors murdered Habibullah Mehsood.
As they were making their escape, the police pursued the kidnappers. During the chase, one of the assailants was injured by police gunfire, while the other managed to flee.
