Former jihadi commander shod dead in Nangarhar province

JALALABAD: The unknown gunmen shot dead a former jihadi commander in Nangarhar province.

Nangarhar governor’s spokesman Attaullah Khugiyani told local media that the unknown gunmen opened fire on a former jihadi commander identified as Ewaz Khan in Chaparhar district, leaving him dead on the spot.

The criminals managed to escape from the crime scene after committing the crime and police registered case and started investigation in this regard.
Meanwhile, Chaparhar Chairman District Development Council Malik Mohkam said that the deceased was the brother of Malik Nawab and resident of Chaparhar.

No one has claimed responsibility for the incident so far.
