Former President Zardari says 100% sure of Opposition’s victory

F.P. Report

ISLAMABAD: Former president and PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari is pretty sure of the success of no-confidence motion saying that he is 100% sure that the motion will prevail.

While talking to media at Parliament House on Friday, Asif Zardari who looked quite optimistic said if Speaker Asad Qaiser did not allow them to table the no-confidence resolution during the next assembly session, then the opposition would stage a protest along with journalists.

“It’s a pity that the Speaker again has remained partial today and he still adopted the same undemocratic behaviour as we have been witnessing for the last three years,” he lamented.

Zardari, who has remained active all these days meeting government allies and leaders of the opposition parties, stated that he was sure of the success of no-trust motion because he didn’t play naïve. “I never play softball, always play hardball and I’m 100 percent sure the Opposition will triumph,” he maintained.

He was of the view that some undemocratic forces wanted to take advantage of the present situation. “Those who want to indulge in adventurism, they should come forward and fulfil their desire,” he dared them.

Deflecting a question on the national government, he said whatever we do, we would do with the help of our allies.
