Four cops, two gunmen injured

HERAT: Four police and two gunmen were injured during a clash in western Nimroz province of Afghanistan, police said Tuesday.

Police surrounded two alleged murderers in the limits of 1st police district in Zaranj, capital of Nimroz province of Afghanistan, late Monday, said Wali Ahmad Saree, spokesman of Nimroz police. He said the gunmen threw hand-grenade on police, injuring four cops, adding both the attackers were injured when police returned fire. He said the injured cops were in stable condition.
