Four dead, 9 injured in different incidents

BUREWALA: At least four people including two medical students and a woman died while nine others injured in separate road mishaps and a firing incident in different areas of Burewala on Friday.

Police said that two medical students including Abdul Rehman and his friend died when a car they were travelling got out of control and hit a tree by roadside while heading to Karampur from Burewala.

A woman Sonia Naz belonging to gypsy family died when an over-speeding Burewala-Vehari bound passenger hit auto rickshaw while overtaking a vehicle moving ahead near Channu Morr.

Due to sudden application of brakes, nine identified as Ruqia Bibi, Riaz Ahmad, Manasb Bibi, Muhammad Iqbal, Muhammad Majeed, Nabbi Bux, Bilal Ahmad, Wazeeran Bibi and Muhammad Mohsin traveling on roof of bus fell down and were injured.

Unidentified armed men gunned down 22-year-labourer Muhammad Ajmal, the only bread earner of his eight family members in suburban village 307-EB and escaped the scene.

The bodies and injured of all incidents were shifted to different hospitals of respective areas and the police after registering separate cases into all incidents have started the investigation.
