Four FC personnel martyred in Quetta attack

F.P. Report

QUETTA: At least four Frontier Corps (FC) personnel were martyred on early Wednesday after their vehicle was attacked in the city’s Langovabad area of Quetta.

Police officials told media persons that the FC personnel were on the routine patrolling duty on Sariab road of Quetta when unidentified attackers targeted their vehicle and managed to escape after the attack.

Rescue and security personnel reached the site, cordoned off the area and started a search operation for the arrest of the criminals.

The bodies of FC personnel were shifted to nearby hospital.

Balochistan in general and its provincial capital Quetta in particular witness frequent attacks by various militant and terrorist groups.
