KANDAHAR: Ministry of Defence (MoD) claimed that three Taliban fighters were killed and two were injured in a operation conducted by security forces in Miawand district of Kandahar on Tuesday.
The operation was started against the anti state elements in Maiwand district of the province with the aim to clear the area from the insurgents. Security forces also claimed to demolish the stronghold of the insurgents
The Taliban has not commented on the operation.
